Take Me Out to the Ball Game.
I will be the first to admitt that when it comes to baseball I am totally clueless. But that doesn't mean I cannot go and just snap pictures, even though I don't know a lot about the game. So here is my version in pictures play by play.....

Hanging out in the dug out.

Warming up before the game.

Heading up to bat.Batting.

Stealing base.
Running home.
And, that's all she wrote because that is all I know. What a great Saturday afternoon for some ball. The only thing missing was the cracker jacks.
Tuesday's Snapshot.
This little girl planted me a flower for Mother's Day way back in May and it was nothing but a little green stem with a tiny bud.

Just look what a few short weeks of rain and sunshine can do to a little green stem with a tiny bud on it. Isn't it just lovely? She is so proud of what it has become and I have enjoyed watching her take care of it.

And, I just threw this pic into the scheme of things today since it is rainy out and it kind of fits.

A New Roomate.
For the last 4 years we had to make sure that every night Coy had his favorite stuffed animal, which was a small mouse. Poor "Mousie" has been through the war with the dog chewing off his ear, the stuffing coming out of the seams, and Lizzie ripping his tail off.

So a few weeks ago, Coy went to the toy store and came home with this huge stuffed panda bear. It has been dragged up and down and all over town with us, kind of like how "Mousie" was . It cracks me up at how big this bear is and how much space he actually takes up. But, "Mousie" kind of has been laying low on the side of his bedroom floor and Mr. Panda Bear has moved right on in. Coy makes room every night for his new roomate and this is what I see when I go in to check on him.

And, some nights they are closer than others.

Tuesday's Quote.
I came across this quote the other day and I just loved it. I don't know if it has been because of all the rain lately - or that I am just starting to notice the beauty in the little things. I think I am so much more attentive to the flowers that surround us on a daily basis and just how beautiful ivy wrapped around a tree can actually be, or the rain drops left dripping off the petals after a hard summer's rain.

Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God’s handwriting. ” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

And, if anybody knows the name of this flower below could you let me know??

Nachos Grande.
It has kind of become a tradition to eat Dad's nachos for lunch on Saturday's at camp. Dad makes the best ever nachos - minus a few of the toppings for Coy and Lizzie.

So, so yummy!!!

Artwork provided by Lizzie.
Some of my favorite things these days are the drawings the kids are doing and I so proudly have to display on the fridge.

So your Friday afternoon artwork is provided by this little girl below drawn at camp last weekend (hence the fire in between two trees). How is that for creativity??

Hope you all have a good weekend!

What setting should I use??
This is what I found after I returned from emptying the dryer the other night and bringing the clothes into the kitchen to fold - I ran back in to switch the other load of laundry over from the washer to the dryer and Chip the kitty cat had found his way into the nice warm dryer.

Anyone know what setting I should fluff him on?? Anyone??

Hello there little green friend.
I was in my glory the other night with the weather being so perfect taking pictures of these lovely lilly pads up at the Schwab Estates in Lorretto. Just look at them - aren't they the most lovely lilly pads you ever did see?? Oh so pretty.

Then I just happened to look up again and wonder what is that thing that just popped up?

"Well, hello there little green friend. How are you on this lovely evening"?

I thought maybe by moving up closer to get his picture it would scare him away. Nope. He stayed for a long time - I think he really wanted to have his picture taken. I think he knew just how cool he really was. Just look at the shades of greens on him and those beatty little eyes - just amazing.

"Thank you" little green friend for staying awhile and posing for me. It was so nice to have met you.

Barnyard Beauty.
For weeks now I have been passing this old barn alongside the road on the way to camp and I have been itching to stop and take pictures there. And, since Lizzie is always my guinea pig she was suckered in once again to be my model. She was actually a good sport about this one because the whole time she was totally freaked out and scared because the cows were mooing behind the barn doors - hence the scared look on her face - she was really scared but was trying to smile for me at the same time.

And, then I found this other barn further down the road but it was quite a hike through a field of tall grass to get to, but I just love the look of this door - it reminds of some kind of door that would lead into something magical.

And, I have to throw one in of my Coy boy who was lucky enough to have not been in the car at that time to have his picture taken by the barnyard door.
