Thursday ramblings...
I have been meaning to post these pictures for a while - but I have just been so busy lately that I seemed to have completely forgot about them until now...so this is just a variety of what has been going on over the last few weeks.

This little boy has been big into sports lately. Playing basketball and football any chance he can get. Loving the warm weather and being able to be outdoors.

And, over the Easter weekend Coy and Daddy when shooting their new guns for the first time. {Boys and their toys}

And of course, the coloring of Easter eggs. Which is always such an adventure at our house.

But, I actually think this is the first year that we did not actually spill the dye everywhere.

And, finally, there is the 1st grade musical. That Coy fails to tell me about until the night before. So, I had to leave work and be at the school for 9 AM. But, I am so glad that I did - it was the cutest musical ever - all about the sea creatures, hence the shark and fish hats.

And, the only reason that I have time to be blogging right now is because this one below is home sick from school after I had to leave work once again because of the dreaded phone call from the school nurse that she is sick and throwing up and running a fever - but is now running around and carrying on like nothing was ever wrong - how does that happen that once they get home they are perfectly fine??

And, stay tuned because somebody is turning 6 tomorrow!!!

Blue bonnetts and boots
So driving down the road the other day, I happen to look over and spot a patch of these beautiful wild flowers - (which I later found out are called blue bonnetts). So I turned the car around and made Lizzie get out so I could take some pictures. What fun we had - Lizzie loved picking all the flowers and they still look great on my kitchen table. I love this time year. There are so many beautiful things sprouting everywhere.

True beauty.
Just wanted to share some pictures of Lizzie and the beautiful things that are starting to sprout everywhere. These pictures speak for themselves - when I look at them all that comes to my mind is "true beauty".

Fish Tales.
Daddy takes Coy fishing for the very first Saturday and this is what he caught. Although the fish tales start already - he is telling everyone he caught the "most" and the "biggest".

Yeah, yeah.
Great catch though. It is now in our freezer.

Lucky Number 5743
On Friday, Lizzie takes a field trip with her kindergarten class for the very first time to the Jaffa Shrine Circus. And, around 2 PM I receive a phone call at work saying Lizzie was the lucky winner of a new bike do I know how I want to get it home? Uh, no.

But here it is! A brand new shiny bike - all because of the lucky #5743. I'm thinking I should make her pick the next lottery numbers. I hope her lucky streak continues.

Way to go, Liz!!

New shoes and a new cousin.
Finally, I got my computer back and it is in fairly good working condition!

So check out Coy's new sneakers! He absolutely loves them! Although, they aren't really what I would have picked - it is what he liked.

And, over the Easter Holiday - we met a new cousin on Rick's side of the family. Her name is Angelica and she is the most cutest little girl and so very precious.

Hope everyone had a good Easter. Will be posting pics later of all the fun filled egg coloring festivities.

My fur babies.
I just had to share a few of my fur babies. Who can resist a face like this?

And don't we all feel like this some days?

Have a good one!!

A quote.
Just wanted to share this quote that I read today.

There is no such thing as a perfect image - just a perfect moment.

So very true. This is one picture that I totally love and feel that it fits that quote so well.

So her.
She lost yet another tooth in less than two weeks time. And she looks so grown up to me and it is so hard not to laugh at her big gapping hole left in her mouth and the way she cannot say her "s's" now. I just love her. And these pictures are so her. She only cooperated for about 10 minutes, but that is all I really need to capture her true personality and beauty.

Her new smile just cracks me up.

Such a girlie girl. She loves getting her nails all painted up and we put butterfly stickers on.

And what girl can go without a pedicure?

I may not be posting for a while because my computer is going in tomorrow for some major surgery. So wish me luck on getting it back and in working condition.

Collecting Seashells.
About two weeks ago I took the kids to the children's play area at Glendale Lake. But of course, my kids are magnets to water and so we ended up down at the water's edge collecting tiny little seashells.

At the play park.
About two weeks ago, when the kids had off school and the weather was so nice, we decided to go the Legion Play Park in Holidaysburg. Both Coy and Lizzie had fun getting outside and we enjoyed the afternoon swinging and playing.

Lizzie Lou being the little monkey that she is.

She enjoys the swings so much. She always goes straight for the swing set.
