Just one from the other weekend while it was actually kind of nice out and we went for a walk down the driveway. I don't think we will be doing that this weekend though...embracing for the big snowstorm to come.

Coy brought a book home from school the other day with stories and drawings from all of his classmates about snowman. This was his. So very cute.

She's addicted! She and I have been playing this game ever since Christmas morning - and she is kicking my butt. {Love that girl}

I think we all have cabin fever and wishing it was sunny and warm - but until then this seems to be passing the time.

How could anyone resist this face?? I just love my sister's new dog. She is the sweetest.

Brrr..its cold out there.
I finally braved the cold and went out for a walk early Sunday morning. Everything was so beautiful because it was all frozen over. I really wanted to stay out longer and capture all of nature's beauty, but it was a whooping 7 degrees and I could no longer feel my fingers or my toes.

Perhaps I am a bear, or some hibernating animal underneath, for the instinct to be half asleep all winter is so strong in me.

I am spending a quiet weekend at home with the family catching up on laundry and eating homemade vegetable soup, mmmmm. Even Mr. Chip is enjoying his lazy afternoon watching the birds outside the bathroom window. It's way too cold for me to go out there! Hope you all are enjoying your weekend!
