A sign of spring.

I thought spring had sprung last weekend. Especially, when I found these pussywillows. A sure sign of spring! Until I looked out the window last night and it was a total white out. Snow...again? For real?? How can that be? With more of the white stuff predicted in the forecast??

Springtime is the land awakening. The March winds are the morning yawn.

Well, maybe next week it will be Spring again.

My pool shark.

Yup. That is what he is these days. A pool shark. His Daddy took him to the pool table store to buy a new stick. Why I don't know because there is already a half of dozen of sticks to choose from.

But, apparently, (because I am still learning all about this game of pool) a stick is not just a stick. You have to have "special" sticks. Special sticks that are also cherry red at the top.

And, he hasn't put the special, cherry red pool stick down since. Now, if I could only talk my husband into going to the Nikon camera store and buying that "special lens". Hee, hee.

That's all.

I only asked if I could take one nice picture of him.....and that's all I got. That's nine year old boys for ya....I guess.

Breaking out the bike.
It has been a long, cold winter. So, in recent days, with a wee bit more of warmer weather in the forecast....that meant for breaking out of the bike (which is way too small, I might add).

Which in turn makes for some "happy faces"!

Solar System 101.

I had my lesson on the Solar System this fine Sunday. Illustrations and artwork included and all provided by the one and only Miss Lizzie Lou.

Pay attention though because she is one tough cookie when it comes to teaching.

Magic.

Today, she performed her magic on me. She talked me in to taking her to the dollar store for silly putty. And, of course, I agreed.

But, no magic was performed on the drive home. I got a flat tire and had to call the hubby to come rescue us! Wishing for the disappearing act to happen then.
